Kasumi wants to become stronger than her mother, who was lost in the sixth Demon Sealing War. Ever since her mother disappeared, Kasumi has become tougher and stricter. Kasumi now sees life as a game of sorts; a trial where the strong can make it ahead in life. Still, Kasumi tends to be cheerful, though she is obviously a tomboy due to the way she tends to act bossy and have her arms crossed when she isn't getting ready for battle. She tends to beat up Camille for the crude behavior he displays when women are present.
