Aya is a calm and gentle girl who doesn't like conflict. Therefore, when the legal institution decides to hold her prisoner, she doesn't even put up a fight. Why would the institution have any interest in Aya? Apparently, Aya has an incredible power deep inside of her that is unstable. The legal institution wants to keep an eye on this power so that it doesn't get out of hand. She can travel outside, but only if she is under the supervision of another person who works for the legal institution. As time passed, it seemed as though Aya would never regain her freedom...until the rebellious youth known as Raven shows up. Silvis was meant to keep an eye on her, but Raven eventually meets her and takes her away from the legal institute. It is during this time that Aya can act like an ordinary girl again and she becomes close to Raven and worries about him whenever he has to fight. The ribbon that Aya wears in her hair is a gift from Raven during their travels.
