Pocket King [Strategy Roleplaying Game]

Potential Pros & Cons

PROS:
- Engaging SRPG goodness with loads of different units (159 different units)
- Tons of units can be onscreen at once
- Divide and conquer gameplay; Liberate and defend cities
- A nice Namco-published RPG that ISN'T "Tales of Whatevertheheck"
- Many challenging battles
- Versus battle features
- You can save during battles and continue later
- Good enough to have a translation guide
- If you like Dark Wizard or Master of Monsters, you may like this

CONS:
- Like Dark Wizard, some battles can take the better half of forever to finish
- Very slow progression overall
- Once a unit dies, they are lost forever
- Only one save file
- If you don't like games like Dark Wizard or Master of Monsters, stay away from this game

Vyse States:
"I like this game a fair deal more than Dark Wizard, if only because
hooking up a Sega CD is a pain in the ass while a GBC only needs
two AA batteries. Of course, Pocket King is a pretty cool game as well.
Emulation aside, I found PK easier to get into."

Title Screen Aisha talking to Elrick. So long as I stay at the castle, I'm INVINCIBLE! Goblins hate fire...just so you know.
