- Sumo Fighter [Action Game] -- Potential Pros & Cons -PROS: - You get to play with a SUMO WRESTLER - Detailed backdrops and large character sprites - Decent audio - Moderate length - Password support - Different difficulties present new enemies and challenges - Interesting blend of platformer, RPG, and Japanese aesthetics - Uncommon game (for collectors) CONS: - The hero, Bon-chan, lags slightly between turns - Bon-chan stomps fairly slow - Rising levels create holes everywhere you jump (very annoying) - The U.S. needs more games with Sumo Wrestlers for stars Vyse States: "More fun than a barrel of monkeys? Maybe not, but Sumo Fighter is a fine Game Boy Action/RPG starring a hero we hardly got to know. This game wields a solid gameplay engine and Japanese culture in spades, not to mention you even get a little of the whole Sumo Wrestling/Oozumou experience on the side. Too bad we'll probably never see anything like this in the states ever again." Game Screenshots Wanna say your piece in here? Let us know at the GS forums or through e-mails!
